could be anything... looks alot like what i have drilled and tapped into my forks. i got mine on ebay for like 20 bucks then stripped out the cheap guts of the light and put in better fog lights. they really brighten up the road!!!
this guy just tapped them into his fender supports. on my brothers sporty we put them on his trees. here are some pics. I thnk they were listed under driving lights on ebay or something... i put extra lighting on every bike i got... let me know if you need wiring help

after powder coat

you can even use small fog lights (to be honest these where the brightest i have ever installed and where $20 at wallyworld)

They look exactly like these that I have been thinking about from Kuryakyn. These are about $85/set. Here's the website:

Hey Joe - When/If I get them, I may take you up on getting some help wiring 'em up! Lectricity ain't one of my strengths........

Now that I look closer, I can see the wires. I don't like that at all.

def not a custom job... super easy to do... hell i have LEDS under my front fender and you can not see any wires at all (can you )
trick is to be slick when hiding wires... even my wifes bob next to mine has 2 leds wired under her fork brace
