We are the Red-Headed Stepchild of the family. Just means you have to be a little creative. Oftentimes you can mod an "...except '06+ WG" part without a lot of effort. Many fit just fine. My "Dyna" script shift linkage was s'posta be for '04 - '05...worked just fine and no modification needed. Don't take ANY H-D application statements as gospel; some of the application/fit limitations and exclusions are due to laziness, rather than any failed attempt to test-fit a new part on an older model bike. FWIW.
