Default Who has a true track and how do you like it?

A friend has a Dyna (and a bagger) and has been asking me about True Track. Since I ride a softail I don't know much about it. What are your thoughts on the product, install instructions, actual install and price of this product? Thanks. Is it worth the money? Does it really get rid over the "wobble?"

I love it.
It's expensive.
Installing the front is easy, rear is tougher, but the color instructions hep a lot, as well as this site.
It will never come off my bike as long as I own it.

We've got another thread about 10 down from this one discussing it further.

So would a video of the install make things easier? Do you think more people would buy it if it were less expensive?

Ok I have been reading the True track thread. So the next question is what about Sta-bo and Ridestr8? Or do they even make something for the Dyna. Is this true track really worth $300?

This thread is really for someone who is not net savvy and is not here with me so I figured that a new thread would be more helpful for them. Yeah, they're kinda slow.

I know Sniper77 has it installed on his '06 Street Bob. He swears by it. I've ridden his bike for about 30min and it felt tight. Felt like I could definitely run some twisties and not worry about it. Not to discourage buying one new, but your friend may find a deal out there.

You're running the same question over on Touring! You've been on HDF long enough to know how to do a search. Just go and buy one there's a good chap. They're great, I have them on two bikes, but you know that already....

There is another recent thread asking pretty well the same question on the Dyna forum, so take a browse through this thread and you will be well up to speed! Why should we do your work for you?!

Don't really understand what you're asking for. Sounds almost like you're doing some market research.

I don't have one, although I am considering it. If your friend is concerned about his bikes handling, most everyone here seems to endorse the TT.

Tell him what it costs and let him make his decision. What else does he expect you to do?

With all the other options out there, I am trying to figure what is the best product for the money. Is a cheaper version going to work as well? I see that there are numerous threads and 99% of them have positive feedback, but like to hear from people who have it as well as reading what has been said. Thanks for all the responses.

What are the other options and what do they cost?
