Default Oil cooler for dyna

My Ride: 2009 FXDC.
I saw two oil coolers for DYNA

26110-05 (this states that it'd fit 2006 dyna models)
26151-07 (this states that it'd fit 06-later dyna models)

Is there a way that 26110-05 would work on my 2009 FXDC. The reason that I'm asking is that I found really good priced ones on ebay.

I called couple of dealers and everyone told me that 26151-07 is the only one that I should go for, but again I dont wanna beleive stealers word...

Its better to get opinion from forum members than stealers

Shrini, the 26110-05 is the one I have, I think the only difference with this one 26151-07 is the chrome cover. Either one will work so knowing you like I do you'll want the 26151-07 because you're a chrome freak!!!

Nah thats not it Don. Those HD guys are going over the parts book and everyone of them told me that 26151-07 thats what I need to get...

I dont care, if I can cut down couple of hundred dollars I can live without the chrome

Thats because they're HD parts guys Also it's actually a Jaggs cooler made for HD. Jaggs has the exact same one

http://www.setrabusa.com/jagg%20file...a-lowmount.htm

the 2580 is the one I have, same thing as 26110-05

Default Oil Cooler

I bought mine for a 2008 Dyna Superglide and it was the chrome one for 300.00 and then the dealer installation, cause wanted it covered under warranty. Since I live in Texas it gets pretty hot here and when stuck in traffic wanted the best conditions for my bike. It does seem to make a difference in oil temp although I don't have a temp gauge hooked up, my feet near the crankcase can tell when the engine is getting hot. Once out of stop and go traffic the cooler works real quick.

Harley Davidson 10 Row Oil Cooler (Photo below) P/N 26110-05 is made by Jagg for Harley Davidson, it is a disconituned part because Harley Davidson has found another manufacture that can make it cheaper (the Lowest bid won).

looks like that would be subject to rocks and debris hitting it in that place

Has anyone tried or checked out the Ultra Cooler? http://www.ultracoolfl.com/ It's more than H-D's, but comes with a fan, which would make sense if your caught in commute traffic.

Just checked this one out. A little more pricey than some but includes the oil filter adapter, has what appears to be easy to install instructions and would do more good in the some the stop and go traffic you might encounter getting out of a big city.
