As for the size/install ???

Stock is 5 3/4 and it took me about 20 mins to install.
SUper easy.
Unplug, unbolt, splice new wires, bolt up and plug back in.

Almost to easy
If you have not already done so put a Sylvania silverstar H4ST bulb in it for more brightness.I find that my fatboy headlight throws a bit wider beam than the stock light. The big roadburner bikes (indian, harley, vincent, triumph, norton, bmw etc) of the 50's,60's,70's all ran the big headlights,I love that look.PSon't buy the silverstar sold for automotive use,you will probably have to order the H4ST,PIAA also makes a brighter bulb and stick with the 55/60 watt.
