Default Stock Solo Seat

I have an opportunity to pick up a stock FXDB solo seat on the cheap. How are they for comfort? Will it fit my FXDF?

it's not a bad seat, I didn't have any problems with it when I had it on. I am not sure if it will fit but I think it will.

It's not a great seat either and I don't know if it will fit. That's the same solo seat I bought (on the cheap) first. I didn't keep it long because I was disappointed in the comfort. As with most stock seats, they are built cheaply to look good with not a lot of effort put towards long term comfort. If you could replace the crappy foam padding with something higher quality like memory foam, it would probably be a good seat. I've been through 3 2-ups and 3 solos before I found what I can live with.

Rode my Street Bob for 1800+ miles up and around Colorado, including a couple of 500 mile days. Was comfortable enough.

Default Factory Solo Seat

The factory solo seat on my 06 FXDB sucked big time. I had it stuffed with better foam and rode it for a couple of years. Not the best as far a comfort but it was tolerable and a lot better than stock.

I can also ride with the stock '09 FXDB seat for hours at a time with no problems...I always swap out the Le Pera seat if I'm riding for more than 2 - 2 1/2 hours at a time.
