Mini apes on SuperGlide??

Hey mud,
Whats the specs on those bars, pullback rise etc.
And after you get everything hooked up send some pics.
Even though I really like the looks of drag bars,....
I think a set of fat mini apes will look pretty good in my current configuration,
and the center mounted speedo is going to be a bigger pain with drags.
My deal is I just want to make sure that I have everything that I will need
when I decide to install a set of bars on mine, cause not sure what lengths of cables
I will need until I get started. John

Looks like the WideGlide bars are roughly 5" higher than the SuperGlide bars,
and the grips are a little more perpendicular to the centerline of the frame,
flatter rather than angled back, not much.
I am not a big fan of apehangers, but I do believe
that raising my arms a little will help on the comfort level.
The speedo issue will be troublesome, due to the 1.25" diameter bars.
They are healthy, stout pieces at that diameter.
Took the stock bars and clamps off this evening, and had a good look.
As a sidenote, I think I found another metric sized fastener on the
little cover under neath for the indicator lite wires.
Forkin little smaller than 5/16 bigger than 9/32.
My smallest met socket is 9mm, and that was too big.
Close inspection in the disassembled state tells me that I can do this,
and keep my speedo/lites basically in the same position.
Anybody else done this, any insight??
Along with the bars,
I also got the thottle controls, brake line, and clutch cable.
No extended wires. Tom May will be happy to hear that the soldering device may,
tom may, come into play here. Tommay come into play.
Anyway, I am looking forward to the challenge.

RE: Mini apes on SuperGlide??
Well I decided to try and see how that 6in set of pullback risers and drag bar fit on my SG. It actually didnt look all that bad but I actually needed more rise to properly clear the tank at extreme turns. I even removed the tank lift to just see how it would go and I think a set of drags with more pullback in the risers and more rise would work great but for it to have a good look I would also need to get that Tbar speedo mounting bracket from accutronix and a new speedo housing. So I'm now looking at getting a set of fat mini apes now mainly for simplicity sake.
On one other note while doing all of this,.... I made a big screwup. When I removed my tank lift to see how the bars would clear, I dropped a nut between the tank and frame. Well,... I then lifted the tank up slightly, well I thought it was slightly anyway, to get the nut and I then hear a loud "SNAP". I then see fuel pouring out the side. What I did was break off the nipple of quick connect fuel line assembly where it connects to the fuel injection system. So I then plug the end of the fuel line quickly to stop the fuel. I then go in and call the only H-D dealer that is open on Monday within 100 miles of me, and just my luck,.....They dont have the part in stock and will have to order it and it will be there Friday at the earliest, and it will cost me $30+. Well,... then during my moment of crisis,.... my wife shows up at home for her lunch break and asked why there is fuel all on our driveway and I explained to her what happened,... And she then asked me the craziest question, " Well if that part is so hard to get,.... why did you break it"? All I could do was roll my eyes and walk away,.......LOL Hopefully I'm not the only one in the world with luck for ****.
