Default Finished the flames on my FXDB

I have been wanting tank flames for the past year. When I saw the 2010 WideGlide with the flame option, I decided that was the style I was going to follow. Fellow member "B767" sent me many photos of his stock WG paint scheme. I removed my old tank emblems and bought the tank emblems from a Rocker C, as one of our fellow members "dyna rider" did and helped me with.
I bought HD Pewter Denim paint, Denim clear coat and activator. I got detailers 1/8" masking tape. I cleaned the tank and taped up one side following the photos from "B767" and Harleys website and brochures.
The actual paint spraying was done by a friend of mine that has an autobody shop. I was going to do it myself but with the Denim paint, if I dripped or oversprayed there was no way to rub it out. I had it pinstriped with white to give it some punch but still keeping everything low key.
It was fun and I love the look!

Nice - wouldn't mind having something similar myself.

Looks awesome, you should do the rear fender and front (if you want) to match.

Looks too much then for me on my own ride. Your fenders are looking naked too.

Yup, now your fenders - at least the front - are crying out for some attention
