Default Flush Mount Fuel cap and Gauge

Need some help guys. I installed The Flush Mount Fuel cap and Gauge #75327-09 set on the Fatbob. The install went through ok. I noticed that the fuel gauge had between 4 to 3 dots left on the indicator when my low fuel light came on the speedo. Its looks like the gauge is not reading the proper fuel levels. Has any one had this problem. Kinda sucks paying 200.00 for a gas gauge that is off the mark. I have only been through one fill up, Just wondering if you guys know any tips on this issue. If not going to take it back to the dealer and get some lame *** excuse on why the darn thing doesn't work.

Mine is the same way, so are many of the others from what I've read about here on the forum. Its just the way it reads the signal, most of the riders here don't rely on the gauge to fuel up.

I agree with CBC, I have them, they look cool, but I don't trust them. I use the odometer.

If yours is like mine you won't have to worry because only the 1 and 6 led even light up anymore. And I put it on this spring...
