Default ready to ride, windshield question

Fall is great in TX this week. I've just mounted two new ME880's on my 08 FXDWG, installed and tuned the bike with a TTS unit, and performed a service. I can't wait to get a few more miles in this week.

My bike has the tinted detachable windshield. I would like something very tinted or almost sun glasses dark. Anyone know where I could find a replacement shield that is dark?

harley disconniuted the darker tining as it was illegal in most states. You may run in to that problem.

Wonder if the aftermarket tint they sell for cars would work on it? Careful, though, at night it's a bitch to see below the shield with the tint.

Here's a p/n list for smoked replacement windshields from the windshield kit compact replacement... 57716-01 instruction sheet (to be found in database, see link in my signature).

Why not just get tinted goggles? Easier and cheaper.

Windvest makes a smoked shield. It is not extremely dark but works for me.
