Yeah, that was my try and being ghetto. Didn't work oiut to well.. haha

Anyway, I got the bike painted. Did everything myself. Here's a couple crappy pics. I'll get some beter ones tomorrow with the better camera. For it being my first time, I say it turned out pretty good. I love the way it looks. Made a few mistakes, but whatever. Lesson learned here: Never do anything to the bike when you have a deadline to get it up and running again. I needed to have it done for harley's anniversary party that was going on today at my local dealer. I think if I would have had more time, it would have come out better.

Good job on the paint job, but I think I like the right side better!!

Still think the same colors top over bottom would have been cool and then a old military pin up girl on the tank!!

i compleatly hear you with the dead line thing, first time i ever rattle can painted my tins i just threw on the tank and spilled gas on it and ruined the whole thing LOL what a dumb ***

all and all from the pics it looks very good...now you need to ride it up to the ocala rally so we can get a good look at it

 

It is different. I personally do not like it. But go with it. Who says I am right. I prefer two tone to be the traditional top to bottom. Not left and right.

Too bad we cannot "Grip Grain" on our bikes.....

 

I know its not everyones cup of tea, but I personally love it. I'm diggin' it big time. And best of all, its different.. which is kind of nice. Now I just need to get some kinda of white air brush work on the sides of the tank to give it some flavor.

Old skool: When is the Ocala rally again? I gotta mark the date in my phone so that I can remember.
