I have 3500 on mine and looks to easily give me another 3500. What tire pressures are you running? Pirelli recommends:
F38-42
R44-50
I am running
F40
R45
Since replacing my stockers, I no longer gage tire purchase by mileage. I am actually getting equal wear on the front compared to the rear. If you go back to the stockers match the K591 with a front K591.

Thanks for the tire pressure info...that's quite a bit higher than the OEM tires.

Tire pressure is WAY HIGHER than whats recommended on the Avon Venoms on my bike.

I believe the front is 36 lbs and the rear is 39 lbs.

I have checked the pressure cold several times and it varies a little with the ambient temperature. Saying that I usually make sure it has 44-46 when it is cold on the rear and 38-40 on the front. I almost wondered if that was too high of pressure and the contact patch was so narrow that it wore faster than normal. At one end of the tire it was definitely more squared off on the sides than rounded. I also always ride solo so i don't add any air to compensate for a passenger.

I have the night dragons s on my bike, I have a little better than 3000 on mine, looks to go another 3000 or maybe through the winter. I probably have more horsepower and torque than you, and I probably ride a lot harder than most on here. If you only got 4000 out of the tire I would have to suspect improper tire inflation. I am running 42psi in the front solo or with a passenger and 42psi rear solo or 44psi with a passenger.

I put one of the MT66 Pirelli rears on about 3700 miles ago and will need to replace it fairly soon.

I'm going to try the Dunlop Elite 3s this time.
