Amsoil / How many miles?

I don't touch the tranny until 20k miles, gear oil 75w140, primary 10k miles. HD primary fluid, crank 5-7k miles, 25w50 or 15w50 mobil one or amsoil. You can deviate from this based on all the info given on the oil threads but be assured that if you follow manufacturer recommendation you will not hurt the bike.

Haven't changed mine yet. Got about 10,000 on it (all 3 holes). I'll probably change it some time over the winter.
I run normal oil in my cars. Usually change it around every 20,000 miles or so. I run my Jeeps to about 250,000 miles before I get rid of them. Never had a problem.
Changing oil frequently is just a sales tool. Motors rarely have oil related failures or problems.

SERVICE LIFE
Recommended for use up to twice the motorcycle manufacturer change interval (miles/hours) or one year, whichever comes first, in engines, transmissions and primary chaincases. For Big Twin Harley-Davidson transmissions only, follow the Harley-Davidson recommended drain interval for synthetic oil of up to 20,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first. When using an engine filter other than AMSOIL Ea, change the filter at standard intervals.
Please note to achieve the above you must be using the AMSOIL filter with nano-fiber technology. The filter number for you bike is EA0134 plain or EA0134C Chrome.
I have run AMSOIL in my bike for several months now. 10-15 degrees cooler, and 3-5% mileage improvment. It is the best oil out there for a bike. Attaced is the Web link so you can look a the information at your leisure. https://www.amsoil.com/storefront/mcv.aspx
I am an AMSOIL dealer but I only started selling after I proved their claims to myself. Everything is true, I have never dealt with a more reliable and honest bunch of folks.
Good luck.

My Amsoil dealer runs it in all his vehicles (BMW M3, Dodge Cummins and his BMW motorycle)
He was using his M3 as a test vehicle before he started up as a dealer. He was sending his oil samples off to the independent testing facility out of Texas.
His last report that I talked to him about he was at 16k miles on his oil (filter change every 3k) on his M3, which is not driven nicely at all, and his results were that his oil was still in the 90% range and good to go. The M3 has over 150k on it now, with many track days.
This..made me a firm believer in Amsoil products. With my bike...I will change all 3 each year as Thedonthere does with his bike. I don't put massive amounts of miles on my bike though. The filter would be my main concern though, not the oil breaking down. Personally...I wouldn't go over 5k without a filter change at the least.
JMHO.
