very nice.... I don't understand how a loss in lean angle can improve your handling though.

Be careful on speed bumps. You'll scrape on some (don't ask me how I know).

Well I played with the preload settings and one click from the lightest setting made a big difference in the ride for me. On the lightest setting the ride was for a lack of better term bouncy. Turning up the preload one notch fixed that.

Default Progresssive Suspension Installed

I rode the FXDC about 2500 miles with only the Progressive 11 Inch Shocks, on next to the stiffest setting almost 90% two up riding. Then really wondering about the front end "Geometry".....No expert here....I installed the Progressive Drop In Lowering Springs with the 1 inch spacer. The Scoot seems to handle and corner much smoother now and the ride quality seems to wife and I to be much improved. Before and after images attached. Happy I made the mod.

Did the same to mine..was a bit of confusion about the length of the spacer and how much it dropped the street bob..cut mine 1"..leveled the bike out, will see how it goes then try a 2" spacer... would think a 2" spacer drops the front 1" lower than original ??
Your right about the handling..feels like a skateboard lol..

Working on the same setup but my drop-in fork spring lowering kit ended up on the wrong UPS truck so I have to wait until Monday to get the other half of my order. But I did get the 412s put on today...

I used thier standard length springs and just slid the fork tubes up 1/2". That seemed to stabilize it quite a bit.I think after awhile you'll be wishing you went with the 11.5" the 11s have so little suspension travel there's no way to get them really adjusted right. Try the middle setting or three notches up from the bottom any less it'll bottom out any more it'll ride like a cement truck.
