Not sure how correct this is but I was told a while ago that using windex on an auto is no good as it will strip the wax finish.

As the denim paint does not have any wax its fine.

I use glass plus to clean the carpet (spots). Works great!

I have heard of using Windex on denim finishes.. I've had some success with Simple Green's new Auto/Degreaser product.. it's blue.. spray on wipe off.. and I use Black out from Clean cycle on the engine and all those parts.
