What highway peg kit and pegs are you running and do you like them? Where is the best place to shop for them? PM me the second answer if you have to.

Do a double...........

Get an engine guard / crash bar and mount pegs on it.

You will get "dropping protection" and highway pegs that you can adjust.

I agree with Mike, the best way to mount highway pegs is on an engine guard. Extended reach peg kits are adjustable to provide the best riding position for you.

I am 5'9"-another short bastard- and I have the factory highway pegs on an 02 T-Sport. I can't comfortably reach the right peg because the air cleaner cover hits my knee and I have to bend my foot in. I wish I had been raised on a horse so my legs bowed around the thing. I would like to put engine protector bars and adjustable highway pegs on as well but the budget says wait.

Let us know what you decide and I will do the same.

second that -with Mike and oldgeezer - the highwaypegs on the wideglide are mounted on the engine guard. The positioning - mount them, ride her and then you can always tweek the adjustment
