A neighbor has company over this holiday. The fellow towed a 2003 dyna with him for the visit. This bike has a carb, and the previous owner installed Samson pipes and a Screaming Eagle air filter. This bike is breaking up upon deceleration. Almost back firing. The question is on my older shovelhead adjusting the carb mixture smoothed out this type of misfiring, can this bike have it's carb mixture adjusted with good results.

 

After some thought I advised the fellow, when he returns home, to find a good mechanic and have the bike gone over.
