Default Smoother Ride

I've been enjoying my new Low Rider. I noticed something the other day. I ride with a sport windshield which cuts down a lot on the chest and face blast on the freeway at 75 and 80. I rarely ride two-up. Yesterday my daughter-in-law wanted to go for a ride on her birthday, so we went for a short one. I didn't crank up the shocks or anything since it was for a 15 minute ride. Heading back to the house, I got on the freeway and was cruising about 75. I noticed that the bike seemed a lot smoother than normal. Do you think this was due to the change in aerodynamics or do I need to stiffen up my shocks some? I normally ride with them on 2, which has never bottomed out.

If you feel that you the ride is nice and easy I would leave everything like it is. If you ride someone that might be heavier than the passenger this time I would go to #3. As long as it never bottom out just leave it. I would rather have a smooth ride than a hard one.

I have HD lowering shocks (11.5") and I ride with my shocks on 1. When my wife rides I leave it on 1 as well because we don't bottom out.
