Fat Bob vs Wide Glide
#11
I call it the 2010 Dyna Fat Wide Street Bob Glide. To me, it's not a wide glide unless you like at profile from the left side of the bike and ignore the rear fender. With that said, it's a sweet looking bike and if I were buying today, that's what I would get. The exhaust wouldn't bother me because I'd swap it out right away.

Wg vs fb
I like the new WG better than the old , but i also like the fatbob with it's WG front and beefy front tire but not the twin headlights , i would like to see the newer WG with the 16 inch tire up front , i'm sure somebody has done it here already ..

The new WG has 34 degrees in the frame and another two in the triples accouting for 36 total degrees. That's a bunch. The WG needs more room in the corners because of this rake angle. i.e. you have to lean it more to accomplish the same turn.
But I liked the new WG enough a flamed one is in my garage!

It seems like the MOCO copied the FB when bringing 'back' the WG. The 'Tommy Gun' exhaust was a main highlight in the FB addvertisments.
I'm glad they changed the Fat Bob enough not to look like the previous WG modle.
I think it's a little dissapointing that they didn't changed the Wide Glide exhaust.
As to the WG rear fender... FB owners are already buying it from the dealer for a direct bolt on mod.

However; minor modification for the signal & license plate light wiring will be required. This is easily done with a Run/Stop/Turn module & side mount plate holder. I used LED bolts (@ $30) to light the plate using the factory tail light wiring.
Oh... and the FB strut covers won't work... and the shorter Dyna covers won't work with the FB shocks. I haven't really looked at the 2010 WG covers, but if the WG uses FB shocks... then those covers would work.

Both scoots are bad ***. But I have to say 08fxdf that scoot of yours is awesome! I have no issue with the twin headlights. Same as I have no issue with auxiliary lights or twins on the Road glide. I even like the dual headlights on the 1929 Harley-Davidson Model B

So we have the new 2010 Wide Glide, I seen it at the dealer and it looks like the Fat Bob with the exception the rear fender and front end. They did not even change the exhaust. I think the moco could of changed it up a little bit more. Dont get me wrong it is sweet and I am wanting that rear fender on my bob. Just wanted to know what everybody thinks.
