Buy Track Time ! You newbies make all responsible long term bikers look bad. Instead of being selfish, and self gratifying, think what the public thinks when you endanger everyones life and property at those speeds.

Wow, you spend your whole life doing the speed limit and break 100mph a couple times on a desolate highway and you're judged a douchebag!!! Last I checked I'd been on the road for 17yrs without a single moving violation or chargeable accident. Give me a f*cking break.

I've had my two little boy's at home with me for their summer visitation and haven't had much ridin' time in the evenings like I'm used to. After they went to sleep last I snuck out for a little while so I could see if the PCIII I just installed was mapped right. Rode thru downtown and thru the tunnel and back on I-10 toward home. Did a couple of full throttle runs up to about eighty and liked what I felt. Turned north on 65 and didn't see a soul in sight so I ran up to a hundred and backed off and took the next exit on Government. No more than got to the bottom of the ramp and I see this city cop coming on fast. He pulls up behind me,flashes the blue lights and chirps the siren one time and I'm thinking,oh sh*t,he's gonna put me under the jail. He then pulls around and stops beside me,looks over, grins, shakes his finger at me and drives on. God,what a relief, some of them cops are cool after all.

Good Luck

Man, you got lucky! You know that doesn't happen too often. I wish the bugs weren't so bad here that I could do more riding at night. Soon as the sun ducks below the horizon, it's like riding in the rain!

Craig, why don't you get one of those little windvest windshields. They're small enough that they don't look bad and they do a great job of knocking the wind off your chest at high speed and the little lip at the tops kicks the bugs up and away from you. Believe me, the Gulf Coast has plenty of bugs,my windshield will be literally plastered with bugs sometimes and nary a one has hit me and I'm looking a inch or two above the top of the sheild.

One of the best things I've done, thought I'd just use mine occasionally and I never take it off.

Good Luck

Good one Tom. ConGratulations Well Done My Friend.

Over the years, I've been lucky like that maybe 1 or 2 out of 3 or 4 dozen.

For those of you condemning the high speed, do you have your rev-limiters set to 3k?
