Why, Oh why do you want to go 100mph plus ?
Because it is fun as hell; although it brakes the high beam filliment of my head lamp of my 99 1200 S Sportster. Haven't tried it yet on my 06 FXDI but I'm sure that I will given the chance. Need to get a few more miles on it yet, BTW, I'm 62years old, Bert Munrowe is my hero.

Why would anyone want to go 110 mph when it is safer and cooler just to sit on your bike and watch the women watch you.

I am asking this question for 2 buddies of mine. One has a Street Bob and the other on 05 Dyna Super. Both have nearly the exact same experience.

Taking the bike up to 180 KPH (112MPH) with the throttle wide open the bike seems to stop pulling at the same rate, but if they back off...one said just a bit and the other said !/4 of a turn...the bike starts to really pull again...

What is causing the above to happen and what can be done to correct it. IS there anyting short of a stage 2 kit that can correct it? Would something like the PC3 or TFI solve this?
Not enough info in your post, but if your bikes have stock ignitions, you could be hitting the rev limiters - usually 5600 - 5800 or there abouts. Or, you both could be lean. If both bikes are totally stock, you're definitely lean, as HDs are jetted lean for EPA reasons - but you could be hitting the rev limiter too.

Buy Track Time ! You newbies make all responsible long term bikers look bad. Instead of being selfish, and self gratifying, think what the public thinks when you endanger everyones life and property at those speeds.
