My last bike was a Springer Softail. I went in to purchase an 09' Softail but after sitting on the Dynas I decided I wanted a Dyna. I like to change just about everything on the bike to my personal taste. So what made me decide to by the Bob was that it was a stripped down plain jane canvas that was cheap to get on. I felt it was a better financial choice to purchase the Bob and customize it to my liking than to spend several thousand more dollars on a fancier Dyna and still have to change everything out.

So what you're trying to say is you only own two Dynas?

I went in to test ride a NightTrain and a FatBOB and ended up see'ing..then sitting on and quickly buying my FXDB.

For me it was that "there she is" moment when I saw it.....didn't care about the model.

I guess every line has to have a most popular model. Low Riders and WG's had (for some reason) fallen in popularity resulting in the reworking of the WG and dropping of the LR. Super Glides attract a specific market segment. It's all good..time marches on. I'm not a fan of the Fat Bob personally but hey that's me...People lament the dropping of the Low Rider from the line up. There's many out there if people want one, just not an 2010.

Oddly enough there aren't allot of Street Bobs around here mostly Electraglides and Road Kings with way too tall apes. Seriously though the FXDC is a way better deal than the Street Bob if you can live with a silver motor.

We all change them anyway so what ever one you choose will be different in some way moments after you ride it out the door.

I guess I’m a fan of the ‘Dark Customs’ look……. The Nightster first drew my attention. After riding it for a year and 10,000 miles and sitting on the Street Bob and realizing it wasn’t too big for me really – I had to have one when the trade in program came along. I dig the ‘bobber’ style. Even though that back fender sucks in the rain – it’s not really a bobber without a bobbed fender. I’m very pleased with my ’09 – silver motor and all.
