Didn't have a particular bike in mind when I went shopping. Sat on a few and liked how the Street Bob felt. Brought it home, painted the engine black, did some mods, and made some changes that would help with the longer rides. No complaints on this end. I love this bike!
I also like all the Dyna models...just don't like the two light thing on the Fatbob.
I agree I like all dynas cept the two head lights ob fat bob. I seen some with fatboy head lights big improvement. When I bought my HD I was torn between the '10 wide glide and '10 street bob. Needless to say wideglide won cuz of the rake and foward controls and ability to ride two up. Among a few other things. But as I said love all dynas but the wide glide and street bob are my fav.
Around here there are mostly baggers and Fat Boys. There are some dynas, but they are defiantly not the majority. I love my FXDB. I think there the best looking of all the HD models.

Yeah there is definitely alot more baggers n softails around here too
It was for me anyway! I loved the silver engine and all the chrome on the FXDC, added the forward controls like the Wide Glide (which I also love-the '08's and back anyway), added the mini apes from a 2011 Street Bob, and set it up for touring with the bags and windshield. I feel like I have the best aspects of the Wide, the Bob, and the Super all rolled into one. It has proven to be a very comfortable and reliable commuter (coming up on 40,000 miles), and I'm one of those crazy people that actually like the 105th paint. The only things I don't like about the stock Street Bob are the mid controls, the one up seat, and the integrated risers. Other than that, they are the essence of what a Harley big twin should look like.
