The three tires that I have been looking at are the Michellin Comander II, Metzler ME 888, Pirelli Night Dragons. Looking for a sticky tire for the twisties but I also do a fair amount of highway riding but I believe all will be just fine for extended periods on the highways

I've done both the Michelins(CII and scorcher) and a Night Dragon rear on my Harley and the Night Dragon is hands down far better than the Michelin for anything twisty. Only had it on for 2.5-3k miles so far so no idea on the mileage compared the Michelin but from everything I've read the Michelins get better mileage but I'd rather have the extra grip.

Waiting for the paint to harden up so I can buff and wax before I install. Fingers crossed I have it on by the weekend. Very happy how the ColorRite paint turned out.

I'm going to be starting a chain drive conversion on my 1997 FXDL. Is there anyone who has done this on a similar model that can comment with spacing, tools needed, etc? Searched the forums and most info is for newer bikes.
