Emerican did you use Touch Up Direct paint on your new fairing on your DX like you did on your Defender?

How are you liking that Laminar Lip? I'm thinking about getting one myself. Is it needed to drill the fairing or can you just stick it on?

Sure, I'll get it for you tonight. Normally stock length FXD forks are 1.5" longer than 1200 Sportster forks. Maybe you're thinking about using an S model fork on a dyna? I've done it, it's a little shorter and sprung differently since the sporty is lighter. Same with the rear shocks, they're pretty soft for dyna's , even turned all the way up they are a still not quite enough. It's all preference though.

No, the Defender was rattle can, the new red one was Harley paint professionally painted. Can't remember where I bought it from...some online store. Just search the color you're looking for in Google and it will show places to buy.
