ISSUE

Member Lama is in the process of modding his 2007 FXDC into a club style or thug style bike (known today as outlaw bikes) Asks members to provide inspiration and post pictures of their own bikes. Members show off their bikes.

Yes, that can be a problem for some. I believe that can be solved and has been by a few members here.

I usually solve problems when I'm confronted with them...that hasn't arisen.

Look into Cycle Visions Bare Backs or buy the leather pro retro bags like I ended up doing

Yeah, I did see some threads that outlined workarounds, (extending the docking hardware) but wasn't fond of how far out the bags hang afterwards. I'd rather just run the rigid sideplates. I guess it's more of an inconvenience than a problem.

It difficult to see in your "Sig"...are you running side plates without the upright?

Thanks! I had not seen the Cycle Vision Bare Backs before. I have nice OEM TSport bags so this might be a good way to go.

I have rigid plates on now, but they were not on when that picture was taken. Was planning to just swap a mini rail on when the lady wasn't going to be with me, but I'll probably check into those Cycle Visions now.
