The Nitros are rebuildable and the 2810s are not.
The Nitros are stainless steel and the 2810s are not.
The Nitros have a fully adjustable (threaded) spring preload and the 2810 have a stepped cam for preload.
Both shocks have a 10-click adjustable damping.
The Nitros have a 38mm piston and the 2810 is smaller (not sure exact diameter though).
Those are the notable differences in my book.
EDIT: For what it's worth, Hagon says that the Nitro is their Harley shock - designed specifically for Harleys. They'll recommend it all day every day. I'd recommend the Nitro as well, but that being said, the 2810 are GREAT on a dyna too. I didn't feel lacking at all with my 2810. Bottom line, if you're
willing and able to spend $500+ then get the Nitro. If you're a little tighter on the budget then get the 2810 and you'll be completely satisfied. For quality, and what you're getting at each price-point, I'd get either of these shocks over any other brand shock in the future.
