To add to B2's list....Hagon! Hagon Nitros are amazing shocks, and the Hagon 2810 is the best bang for your buck hands down. $300 gets you full preload and damping adjustability.

Plus one on the Hagons. They also have awesome customer service.

Plus two. Excellent shocks and way more cost effective than Progressive or Ohlins. Their Nitros are really good. But get longer ones than stock - 13" or 13.5" are both good.

These Hagons are sounding like the way to go for me. What's the difference between the Nitros and the 2810s? I've just started researching shocks cuz I want more clearance for my bags, so I still don't know a whole lot about them.

Had 2810's on my street Bob. They're an upgrade for sure, just depends how much you want to spend. The Nitros are comparable to the Works Trackers.

Again, depends if you want to spend $300 for a little upgrade or $1600 for some piggyback super dial sport tuned ****.

I can't comment on the Hagons but I just installed 13" Progressive 444's and they are a huge improvement over stock shocks. Both in handling and comfort. I picked them up for about $430 brand new. Plus with my wife riding with me more and more I love the fact that they can be adjusted by hand without any tools.

Can't wait to get home and put these on Thursday!

Also picked up a full rear fender off Craigslist today for my Bob....

Two items off the list in one day!

Disclaimer: this might be a stupid question... What the hell is that, with the fox sticker on it?
