Why are you moving away from the 970s? Changing the front internals also or just going with a longer spacer?

 

Mainly because I want taller and found a deal on some lightly used Works. My 970s are 12.5".

I have the Ricor Intiminator setup with Traxxion springs currently. But I plan to pull the springs and get some Race Tech Gold Valve emulators and get Wide Glide tubes. Essentially, I'll end up with enough parts if I follow my plan to have two complete sets of forks... this will make for zero downtime and then I'll sell the other--stock length--complete set.

I'll a little wacko.

 

Damn, when it's all said and done it'll be a whole new bike! I'm jealous! Getting matching sliders or keeping the signature look?

 

haha! I've got a set of matching BLACK sliders in a box already... so... i'll be harder to spot.

Finally all caught up on my bike and finished everything on my current to do list. Supposed to be 65-70* here this weekend so I'll be riding. Complete brake jobs front and rear rotor/bolts/pads/flush. Also got the brake switch in my front control housing replaced to fix the flickering taillight. Installed my custom dynamics taillight. Really liking the way that the bike is coming together. Deciding now if I'll do front suspension or T-Sport fairing next.
