Do it! Haha. The Lowrider is a great starting point. I was in the process of "converting" a bike when the 14 FXDL came out. Traded my bike in and started with everything I was wanting for the last bike.

Ok everyone, I don't post much here, but I read every page of this thread. Which gave me many ideas to do to my T sport. But unfortunately it'll all have to wait...
I just started my own business and decided to sell it and put the funds towards the business...
Anyhow I'm posting here first, then tonight I'll be putting it up in the classifieds when I get home. So here re the details

2001 FXDXT Sport, silver, 14,151 miles, I'm the second owner.
Michelin commander tires with 60% life left,
Brake fluid flushed
All oils replaced with Mobil 1 synthetic
Arlen ness stage one air cleaner
CvPerformnce jet/needle kit, spring and diffuser (vacuum port not drilled)
Sundowner seat, sissy bar, and luggage rack (all black)
Removed factory baffles, I left the plug in, but drilled out all holes to 13/16" and reinstalled/welded baffles.
Other then that it is all stock, with bags, rain liners, 2 keys and remotes, owners manual.
The bike is super clean time capsule.
The only negative is when I towed it home, I released the wrong strap (kick stand side) and before I was able to catch it, the bike was pulled over and landed against the trailers wooden side panels. It put a scuff in the clear on the tank, and a few other really minor marks elsewhere.
I researched every sale ad for the past 3 months on these bikes, which was 15 ads, I averaged all the prices and mileage and figured my asking price, which I think is a good starting point
$10,700.00
