I run a similar style, but lower price point (by only $15), the HD Get-A-Grips. The PM have replaceable rubber for $15, however.

I wonder if I can put the Renthal replacement rubber on my HD grips. Anyone done this?

Avon also has similar with replacement rubbers.

HD Get-A-Grip that I'm currently running.

Renthal replacement rubber for PM grips.

It handled better and rode smoother. Much better than and Dyna I've had. But everything else I didn't care for. The ergonomics were bad for me, the 25yr old+ electronics also didn't make me excited. It had it's highs and lows. For what I need to do, the Dyna works better.

I run these on my Dyna and I had them on my Sporty - grippy, comfortable, not heat/cold-conductive. Relatively inexpensive, too.

FXR ergonomic's are different for sure. You sit more in an FXR. After updating the seat and taller shocks, mine now fits perfect. The simplified electronics are a plus to me, easier to troubleshoot. That and the engine are so simple to work on.

I have been a real big fan of this thread from the beginning so I finally think my bike is worthy of a couple of pics
