Were you able to tell a big difference switching from the 255 to 777? What tuner are you using? PV?

Big difference, and yes, I'm using a PV. I had a dyno done with the 255s which was entirely open loop. It came out at 89HP/104tq. I'm running the 777s with just a canned map from Fuel Moto (meant for 555s) and the difference is significant. Much stronger than the 255s. I'm using the PV auto tune to get me by until I can afford another dyno session.

The 255s were nice for lower rpm torque, but I put in a 30T Andrews pulley a while back which puts me in a higher rpm cruising range and I wanted something that would continue pulling beyond 4000rpm. I was gonna go with the 555s, but after talking to Fuel Moto about what I wanted, they recommended the 777s.

Nice. I've heard nothing but good things about the 555 and 777 so I'm sure you'll be happy! It's always fun watching the progression of your bike Squid.

Quick question for you - On one of your pictures I noticed that inside the fairing, between the windshield and the plastic portion right under it, it looks like you have two little spacers or something supporting the shield. What are those and whats the purpose?

Well dangit! I wanted the purchase of a PV to negate dyno tunes.

Shoot

That PN doesn't bring up any parts.

Miss a zero or something?

Are they OEM HD parts?
