The title of this thread is kind of misleading because over the course of 5 years and 7,000 posts it has turned into a thread for performance-minded bikes with inspiration from dirt, track, and street. Slammed, raked, forwards, with apes is the complete opposite of this style. It's not a bad style at all and can look pretty sick...it just doesn't fit the theme of this thread. A long time ago guys wanted our own section of the forum but that was a no-go, so that's why some are protective of the theme here. It's our only oasis on the forum for this niche. No worries.

That's my take anyway.
Yeah, Lama, Last Saint, venturaoutfit and myself all tried to get the mods to add a separate forum, they said it's not a popular enough style to warrant it's own section lolol. They did however agree to let us do some other kind of discussion or "group" or some crap. It died on the vine due to lack of giving a fvck by most of us.

Ive got a ?...

I joined the Army when we had to have our boots shined and uniforms crisp. Not this tan/ wash-n-wear crap.

I learned long ago to heat the Kiwi wax on the boots and buff to a CRAZY deep shine.

I wonder if that'll work on our bikes.

Idk which wax will melt with heat. I figured out Meguires GoldClass doesn't.

Anyone do it? Which wax do you use?

Maybe I'm not expressing my question properly.

Does anyone use a wax that you melt with a heat gun then buff it?
