'77 XLCR. The year I was born, and one of my favorite HDs ever. I love the cafe racer look. And I really don't care when or where the t-bar and fairing look came from, I like it and run it because I like the way it looks, feels, and handles. And I really don't give a crap what anyone thinks. And you know what, I like watching SOA. And the show may have even influenced my bike a little by making me look at all the fairings and t-bars once a week that I already liked.
The only opinions I care about when it comes to my bike are those of the ones I ride with. And I ride alone

I have literally seen zero bikes in mid-Michigan of the style. People think I am some kind of revolutionary bike designer or a handful that know about SOA make comments about that. Crazy how it is so common on the internet but I have never once seen one around here.

Out here in Ventura you're not going to go for a ride without seeing a handful of other club style bikes

If you wanna make a few bucks off those fxdx shocks before insurance gets to it shoot me a pm

Damn, so much for ripping around with a new riding bro..

I think it's all CA and into AZ. I'm in Dago and can't go for a ride without seeing 3 or 4 of the same style.

Very nice, wish I had the cash!
As for the regional thing, I've never seen anoth t bar and fairing dyna around here. I've got a ton of complements though. People are like "is it a sport bike and chopper combined?" lol.
