Getting my trip setup figured out. The stacked quick disconnects seemed to do fine with the little odds and ends I had in my bags. True test will be a dirt road and my full load out. I had to modify my locking levers for the slightly bigger sportster qd bushings, but it still locks up nice and holds the bags in place.

Default Back for the First Time

Whats goin on guys!

Ive been MIA for a while but I'm back.

I recently got promoted and had to go to a leadership course in TX.

Come back with a question....

Post # 1824 in the Dyna "How To-Under Fifty Bux" thread discusses an alternate location for the horn under the seat.

Problem is, the pictures seem to be long gone.

I just ordered my DK coil relocation kit and REALLY want to put the horn in the location discussed.

Can anyone help me out?

Since my last visit, I added some 13" black shocks. I think a couple other things but don't remember everything.

Still need to get better blinkers, add my coil kit, tank lift and mount my forwards to be complete. Yea Yea...

Sorry for the sh*tty iPhone pics but had to share.

Just upgraded my fat bob with barnette carbon clutch plates with extra plate, fork boots, heavy weight oil in down tubes with burly brand pre load adjusters, 2015 wheels, cagecrackers handguards, crash bar (plan is to do lowers).

Just a suggestion... if you're keeping the fairing, you might want to skip the tank lift. Bikes I've seen with both don't look so great.

Otherwise, have fun and enjoy the ride.

Appreciate it. Ill def keep that in mind.

Right now, I'm searching the board for signal ideas/ insight.

I can't stand the bulbous stockers.

I REALLY like a couple LED setups from joker and AN just haven't the slightest idea how to make them mount/ work properly.

I'll second that. Tank lifts are no bueno with this look. Never seen it work out well. lol Also, if you like a low profile turn signal look I think Joker is definitely the way to go. Just my two cents. Mounting is simple. They'll come with directions and if you have any questions just throw em up on this thread. I (and I'm sure plenty others) can guide you in the ride direction on installation. Worst case scenario is you'll need to buy a load equalizer to install under your seat (simple module that plugs right in), but I was able to get away with not needing one.

I've got the TruWrapz from Custom Dynamics--I just need to get them wired up. They're a strip of LEDs that wrap around the fork tube. I plan to put them right below my fairing above the bottom triple tree.
