I am heading in this direction. Want the same lowers setup in the winter. We seem to have different highway bars so I am not sure they will install as cleanly on mine. Pretty sure mine are one of the older HD OEM bars.

WOW.
How about this?
I wrote that last post about buffeting, then hopped on my bike and rode to work, and NOW I KNOW WHAT BUFFETING IS.
I hated it!! I have a headache....
Everything was great and I was just thinking about how nice it was to be on the freeway with almost no wind on my chest and face and then I accelerated slightly and it hit...right between 76 and 82 mph it was horrible!
If I can't adjust that out of the Laminar Lip quickly it's gotta go...
My HD Quarter fairing NEVER did anything to me remotely like that.

I just said the same thing this morning...I'll stick to my good ol quarter fairing, thank you.

It's not the fairing. It's your height. Haha. They are adjustable. Mine doesn't do it all all to me but I am 6 foot. If your a lot taller or a hobbit you might have problems

I rarely hear people complain about wind buffeting with a t sport fairing, usually I only hear about how good it blocks the wind

I agree, I think it has alot to do with your height and body position on the bike. I had some annoying buffeting with the Rifle fairing when I was running forward controls and 18" apes which were 36" wide. I ran the 18" shield with this set up. Switched to 15" shield, mid controls and 12" Tbars (28" width) and buffeting is gone. I'm 6'1" for reference. Playing with the angle helps as well. With the shorter shield and Tbars I was able to angle the fairing/shield back more which I think made a difference.
