Its the red paint on the outside of the rims that make it look like butt. The red doesn't go with the paint on the sheet metal in the least. Retro looking seat. Cool bars. Good brakes and suspension. Could be a decent bike if they loose the red on the wheels (won't comment on the color choice for the base and flames).

Based on what you posted, I think the style you're really thinking about is Bratstyle. Here ya go: http://www.bratstyle.com/custom/custom.htm

You get my vote for getting hitting the nail Countrypunk. That is a cool site btw. I always thought those bikes were called "bobbers" meh...bratstyle, who knew. Do they fall into the "barhopper" class as well?

I am in the process of getting a metric to chop into a "bobber" for my kid. That site has a lot of good ideas to glean from. Were looking for a Rebel 250 but I may have to settle on a GS450.

Go for the 450 man! I'm sure your going to be wanting to ride it every now and then as well. Don't want your kid to outgrow the new scoot to quick. Good luck!

I'm with Sickwithit....that bike is very well put together. The paint is horrible, but hey, everyone is different. It obviously has had a lot of performance oriented work done....great brakes, suspension looks good. Not all bikes done in this style are black....I've seen quite a few with flashy paint. It depends on the personality of the owner I think.

The link posted with all the jap bikes...funny, that **** is everywhere here. Most of them ride little pieces of **** but still have that "style" (and much worse) for the most part.
