Thanks man, waiting on my night rod fairing to get here, powder coat and paint more things, throw some cams in her, and probably some sort of small throw over textile bags, when budget permits a black thunder header. All in good time.

I'm also getting less popping on decel now and I haven't even messed with my tune yet. Finally, my highly calibrated butt dyno says I'm seeing better power than the Bassani in a noticeable way.
I agree, that 1D5250 is loud as hell. The new pipe looks great.

I'll say it again: we need a "like" button.

A fellow Marylander, nice bike!. I left 20 years ago, but still visit my brother a couple times a year. I'll bet your bike is a pretty rare sight around there.

Go O's!

LOL, probably. Finish aside, I just like the style of it a lot more than the Bassani I was running. I know a lot of people say Thunderheaders are ugly from a shape/form perspective, but I disagree. I've always thought it was one of the best looking pipes for Dynas, as far as the shape is concerned. Finish, well... time will tell .

I replied to your PM, but just in case others are curious... 13.5" Ricor.

Appreciate it, and yeah, they definitely are. I was worried the Thunderheader was going to be worse after all the posts I read where people complain it's too loud. I was shocked when it turned out to be quieter than the Bassani. Granted, it's not a huge difference like comparing aftermarket to stock, but it is definitely quieter. What I'm loving is that even though it is quieter, it is definitely a deeper grumble and I think it is way more fitting. One of the other pluses is that it is a full length pipe so I don't have to deal with the exhaust gunk being spewed all over my swingarm and shocks any more.

I have a 2014 FXDB in denim black. Purchasing a "primer black" HD quarter fairing. I am wondering if I will need to paint it denim black to match or if the "primer black" is pretty damn close.

the primer isn't black, it's kinda dark blue!

Well my wife is gonna be pissed(again). I just bought some 14" T bars. Moving up from the 12" MX style. Better to ask for forgiveness than for permission, I suppose. Unless I have that backwards....
