here is what mine used to look like befor the lower bolt hole in the fairing cracked and it pulled through slamming up against my bars and almost completely broke off going down the freeway. I might fix this flimsy piece of crap one day but I have a windshield that works better for now

Bummer on the fairing. I feel you about the lower bolt. I use a couple of washers and rubber washers to hopefully prevent the cracking since it seems to be a weak point on the Rifle fairing.

Thanks man...really...the shield is actually a rifle 15 or 16 origonally, I cut it down to about 14, optimal to see over for me, run it flared out all the way on fxdxt fairing, so it "acts" a bit taller...took some experimenting to find the perfect height....think for me I found it...

yeah I tried that too and in the end it broke anyways. its by far the most flimsy piece of crap quarter fairing ever made. ill prob just keep the windshield instead untill I have the money to put an fxrt fairing on. but im hoping to get a fuel moto 107 kit this winter

Default SOLO Gunslinger

Call it what you want.

It is personal preference.

A lot of nice sleds on this post.

I stripped my ride down to where I felt it was sleek enough for me.

The only thing that needs to go to fit the bill perfectly is the front highway pegs.

The bike is wicked fast, stops on a dime, screams like MAD and turns a lot of heads.

I debated for years to go forward controls, however, I chose to leave the mid controls because of my riding style.

I have much better control with them.

Myself, I prefer the term: SOLO Gunslinger.

MY FXD was butt @$$ ugly when I bought it.

My .02..

Peace... Keep it real..
