No problem bro, I think 12.5 or 13 are both perfect, I just dont like how it makes the bike look any higher then that. I can get pretty low before I scrape my pipe with 12.5's but I have a thunder header and Im sure you know they sit low.

Here is mine with 13.5" on. They are OEM off a sportster. Definitely a difference in handling and a slightly noticeable difference when riding. Hopefully this'll give you a picture of height.

A little high for my taste but it looks good bro! Would you say it handles better or worse? I mean I know clearance is better, but what about actual handling?

Before I did this, I was scraping the bottom pipe at bit. I like to take my bike out to twisties(this is my first Harley, everything else was sportbikes) and with the added height, the handling is definitely better. More responsive, for sure.

Monster - I appreciate the comments, your bike is always on point as well.
Irish - I think a chrome pipe would definitely look good, contrast is key.
Puglia - Looking good man, nice work.
Finally got out for a good ride. 95% done, daymaker installed, fairing back on, finished scotchbriting the pipe and cleaned her all up. Ordered the front Sputhe stabilizer on Friday and it was here Monday. Gonna switch it out this week so I can mount up the Dougz chin spoiler. Next plan is to de-badge the tank and add silver pinstripe to tins to match the battery box & spoiler. To say riding it is a totally different experience is an understatement. Suspension, riding position, stability all drastically improved. Buffeting I had with 18" shield is now gone with 15" and new riding position. Anyway heres a quick pic.

Couple new shots, also, mine are 13.5" Ricor shocks since that seems to be the subject of the moment. Increasing the ride height in the rear changes the geometry of the bike and makes it turn in faster than stock, so aside from the clearance, you get faster and all around better handling than stock height. I love them and would never go back.
