ISSUE

A lift is best, but with some strong helpers, you may be able to do it without one. You'll need a big Torx and I think a 3/4" open-end wrench--sorry, don't have it memorized to check your service manual. If you don't have magic torque-sensing arms, you may want a torque wrench, too. Some loctite...

It depends. There's an urban myth that the light cuts out while leaning over. Mine has never cut out. It stays on all the time.

The issue with the 1st gen is the lack of light on the sides directly in front of the bike. The illumination is narrow in the short field. It spreads out well in the long field. I don't have any issues with it at all. I ride at night on some dark curvy country roads and never had an issue.

Right on bro. I have the first gen day maker as well. Although I wish it were better it does the job fine with no issues.

i agree i was happy with my 1st gen daymaker, 100x better than stock.

SLV fyi your pics always have the best back ground, Georgia looks awesome. one of this days ill go take some good pics
