Is the ride better? How much actual height is gained?
Any other things I need to know?
I'm either buying the these or the set from Bung King until I can get the longer shocks I want.
THANKS

I wouldn't pay 400 or 450 for them. 170 isn't bad though if they are new and not used. As far as Harley rear shocks goes...the fxdx and fxdxt are the best I know of Harley has ever put on any bike. They are real decent shocks...but not the cats meow. They are no better than a lot of the after market shocks available and there are MANY aftermarket shocks I think are better. When mine wear out I will go after market with a piggy back resevour unless I find fxdx shocks for a steal. I guess if you were building a fxdx or fxdx-t and keeping it bone stock as a collector down the road or something then it'd be worth more money to get original shocks. I think stock fxdx's and fxdx-t's COULD be worth a pretty penny or so in the collector market in 25 more years or so. Like old hot rod cars. That one is hard to say though. Very little on my fxdx is still stock and I look to aftermarket when ever possible for parts.

I hate to do it....but I think I will be listing my 2000 FXDX in the for sale section in a day or two. I need to get a list of everything done to it together. I think I'm going to start a FXR project next. I'll ride my rigid with a 107 S&S in the meantime. If anyone is interested shoot me a pm. The bike is extremely quick and well built.

Anyone get the updated day maker yet? Specifically looking for feedback in the corners since I know the first version disappointed there. Need more light on the back roads here.
And I should probably post some pics soon since I did a 95", pipes, brembo's, Sputhe etc this winter. Whoops! Coming soon.
