So it's been a while, have had the bike together for a couple weeks now. Why the hell won't the factory put a real suspension system on their bikes from the get go. It is a completely different animal since the 13" shock, cartridges and True Track went on. Though this is nothing new to most of you, echo, echo. Put the mid controls back on too.

Coming next week it'll be 2months. They still don't have the sensor they need for my new gauge and I guess it's going to run me 2k

I have a 2014 FXDB. Could one of you please explain the rise? I am new to it as this my first Harley and my bars are just that, 12". Someone said with the streetbob stock cables, I should be alright going to 14"?

I think I'm done spending big bucks on it this year, but I do want to throw on some fork gators and black out the lowers when I get the time.

For sure you can go 12", maybe with a little re-routing you might get away with 14" bars. For some reason I didn't think the brake and clutch would be long enough, but I'm sure somewhere he will chime and let you know for sure.

I mounted the speed merchant radial caliper bracket and a 4 piston gsxr tokico caliper. Its a big difference, the stopping power is great, just need to upgrade the rotor now. Also got the daymaker, that thing is no joke id recommend it to anyone that does alot of night riding. Maybe paint the fairing next? Still gotta tweak a few things but its coming along.

Pretty much, stock mounting bolts wont work so you need to get two bolts that are the right length. And i needed to shim it with some washers to get it centered on the rotor. Im using my stock master cylinder and line. Its not as touchy as the stock caliper but when i get on it i stop quick!
