Thanks mojo.

I don't know if I'll put the sissy bar back on. I think it worked well with the apes, not so sure about it with this style. But maybe I will if I need someplace to hang my t-bag if I take a long ride and don't have anyplace else to carry my crap.

this custom dynamics light is really bright, too!

your bike looks great, too!

Lots of nice new pictures to look at. The paint guy told me my fairing and fender were going in the mail today, so hopefully they'll be waiting for me when I get home from this trip.

My summer move plans just got all totally screwed up, so I think I'm going to have to end up paying to have someone else do my cam swap/lower rocker box cover install. I'm kinda bummed about that.

That's interesting, I agree... pull back on the stock bars was too much .... the trackers off the 10 inch risers was perfect for the brake line, and I was very pleased with the gentle bends up and back...much flatter...I hear you on price...the risers were a steal, I was committed at that point...either a brake line or trackers....

I was using a top clamp mount that I cut until I bought a sportster mount. The bars came with the bungs for the speedo already mounted.

I thought I'd update on my winter project.

New 20 degree 4.070 bore pistons from Axtell.
Got my screamin eagle htcc cnc ported heads back from WFO Larry on Sunday. He disassembled them and sent the bare heads to axtell to machine the combustion chambers to match the 20 degree pistons. Larry did some hand massaging to the intake and exhaust ports, put in new valves with a fresh valve job, and set up the springs for the Leineweber T7S cams I am replacing the S&S 585g's with. I will be running a cometic .040 mls head gasket. That puts squish at .035. Compression is set at 10.8~9.
I'm also swapping the mikuni 45 for a mikuni 48 with a new S&S intake manifold and running a Doherty power pacc backing plate with a zippers extended air filter.

Just got my 14' Street bob and not liking the look of the chopped rear fender so I would like to go with the longer rear either an older Street bob one or a Superglide one. Just kinda curios as to where everyone is getting theres and how much about your paying?

Got mine off of ebay. Just keep checking. I think I paid $200 or something like that. Needed paint, lighting, and wiring.

Super Glide Rear Fender + Brake Light + Layback Plate Mount (New Castle) $804.25
10191A CLIP, wire holding $2.03
11576 CUSHION, fender (4) $2.56
59138-06A COVER, right $86.07
59171-06A COVER, left $86.07
59287-92 REFLECTOR, right (red) $4.45
59288-92 REFLECTOR, left (red) $4.12
59634-06DH FENDER, rear (vivid black) $407.75
60280-07 Layback License Plate Kit $39.96
3022A SCREW $0.57
4116 SCREW (2) $8.12
7964 NUT $1.73
68026-99 SCREW (2) $4.60
68066-99A BASE ASSEMBLY $32.14
68140-04 LIGHT ASSEMBLY $42.03
68480-02 SUPPORT (2) $25.16
68770-02B HARNESS ASSEMBLY $17.86

What I bought:

Harley parts:
59634-06DH FENDER, rear (vivid black) (eBay - used)
3022A SCREW (holds base to fender) (HD dealer)
7964 NUT (clips onto tab on fender, 3022A screw goes through base into this) (HD dealer)
68066-99A BASE ASSEMBLY (stock tail light base assembly for many models) (HD dealer)
68026-99 SCREW (2) holds light to base. (HD dealer)
68770-02B HARNESS ASSEMBLY (replaces stock wire harness. connects under seat, adhesive backing to stick it to the underside of the fender and runs to the tail light base) (HD dealer)

Non-Harley:
Custom Dynamics Black LED Integrated Laydown Taillight w/ Turn Signals & Window (P/N: GEN2I-LDW-S-B) (eBay)
Kuryakyn Curved Laydown License Plate Frame (P/N: 9171 Chrome, 3148 Black) (eBay)

I’ve heard the Drag Specialties costs less and lays down more.

I replaced the rear turn signal strut/stalk bolts with some stainless 5/16” x 1 1/2” bolts, washers and nuts. I think I can get away with a 1” length, however. (Home Depot)

In another thread, somewhere, I found this link that shows all the original HD parts and numbers.
