ISSUE

Member Lama is in the process of modding his 2007 FXDC into a club style or thug style bike (known today as outlaw bikes) Asks members to provide inspiration and post pictures of their own bikes. Members show off their bikes.

Ok, I been around harleys since I bought my first, '72 iron head sporty in 72 but never heard the term "chicken strips", what's that?

Chicken strips are the area that has not seen contact on the outside edge of your tires. The wider the strip, the less you lean. The less the strip, the farther you lean.

lets try to steer this back on topic, figured this was the best thread to ask...

Is anyone running the 8" t bars from west coast, how do you like them, wish you went 10 or 12? im gonna order some bars for my street bob but cant decide on which height

I had 4 inch straight risers with drag bars on my Street Bob and at 6ft tall I would have preferred 8 or 10 inch risers. I like a lower handlebar height because I came from a sport bike background so after doing some measuring I am gonna go with 8 or 10 inch T Bars on my FXDX.

Its all just preference really, I just feel more in control with lower handlebars.

top of my bars are actually 14" but hand height is more like 12.5-13"

riserless bars you want height - in my op - remember your losing riser height
