Vonswanko,

Nice looking bike. What seat are you running and how do you like the feel of... I don't know what to call them... the folds/ridges/pleats?? In otherwords, the "texture" of the seat.

Thanks! Its a CC Sport Tour seat that I had recovered with the tuck and roll. the roll was really to help hide the flames that were on the seat origanally and had left impressions on the foam. They do help out with giving you some airflow underneath and keeps you from the sweaty *** syndrome. Its the best seat I've owned. And Iv'e done a couple six hundred mile days on it. No fatigue at all. Plus it has plenty of bolster to keep you from sliding back when you whack the throttle.

Thanks again homie much appreciated.

Any modding needed to have them mounted?

I just had to trim some away from the bottoms to clear the highway pegs. Other than that, they fit up pretty good. The bottoms don't sit exactly in the groove for engine guard, but really close.

Just bit the bullet on Ricor shocks in 13.5". Went with the sport tune instead of super sport since my day to day consists of a good bit of boring super slab riding. They say to expect a lead time of 3 weeks on delivery, so I probably won't see them until early March, but I am excited to say the least. Don't have the cheddar to do front and back at the same time, but I hope to do the front come late spring, early summer.

So I'm a little ignorant on the suspension piece. Since the Ricor's come to your door tuned for riding style and weight of the rider plus gear, how well do they work if you are riding two up or riding with a lot of provisions? Is the Ricor then just not the right shock if one rides in a multitude of situations?
