I have the Gauntlet with a set of Bung King T-Bars for FXDB (basically a set of narrow window pane bars) now, but I used to have an Emgo Viper fairing (kind of similar to the Ness style) with traditional chopper style 10" Zbars on 4" risers. Default Belt Clearance Issue with Tall Shox 05 and older Dyna

I noticed today that my belt is rubbing the passenger foot peg bracket. My shocks are supposed to be 13.5 inchers but I think they are a tad longer than advertised because I had to also change my Thunderheader bolt arrangement as well because the supplied bolts hit the swing arm. The blue tape and markings are where I think I will need to gain clearance needed.

Have any of you all had issues with this?

Not that I am aware of, but I am glad you said something. I might have to go check mine now.

My pegs on my 06 are on top of the swing arm. I didn't know that those were like that on the newer bikes

I am fairly certain the FXDX/FXDXT had to have the belt rubbing this bracket in stock form (13.6 inch shocks). I bought my bike without the rear passenger pegs on it, and the bracket I am using now is off a low rider with shorter OEM shocks. So I cant tell if the original bracket had any paint missing from belt rubbing.

If any of you other guys with 05 and older Dynas and tall shocks could take a look and tell me if your belt rubs here?
