That looks cool as all get out ... but, not sure if it would preclude the use of standard mid- or forward controls ... since it is bolted to those two points on the frame ...

At a minimum, it would make the controls stand off the width of the stock used ... obviously, the bike shown has controls mounted off the transmission cover on this side and I surmise the middle of the primary cover on the other side ...

So, what would be the purpose of the shield ... is it bullet proof ...? Saw a police Victory bagger that had bulletproof plate on the underside ....

If it is to protect the underside of the motor and trans for when you take it off the street, the tires on the bike belie that use ....

Interesting, but additional dead weight of the thing (even if it is aluminum) is not my bag ... just as a conversation starter piece ....

... guess I'm just confused ...

I suppose one could mount the shield off clamps on the frame (at either fore or aft points) instead of using the frame peg mounting points ... to allow one to use stock-type foot controls/pegs ...

I was thinking maybe they were some Roland Sands Designs (RSD) made for a Softail that had been adapted to a Dyna ... or some custom ones designed similarly to bolt on around the transmission cover ... take a look at the RSD website and you should see some similar foot control/peg setup ...
