Fresh Paint
Couple updates. I got my Dougz fairing back from being painted today and spent a couple hours ripping around North County dialing in my front fork sag to match the Ohlin 909s I got from Puffdaddy.

Squid, the bike is looking dope man. I like the way the chin fairing is 2 tone, you should have your battery box painted the same way. Is this style for sale now at Dougz?

Dood, you are a mind reader. After I mounted the chin, that was the first thing I thought of was 2 tone battery and fuse boxes. Coming soon.

And, yes, this is the new Dougz fairing. The plastic is the same as before, but the bracket is different and pull it closer to the frame.

Your pipe powder coated? Noticed it is not flat black

Really, I thought it looked narrower and came to more of a point than the regular Dyna one he offered. I did look it up and he has a pic of your bike with it and says is a new model for bikes with tru track. I emailed him to see if he would be willing to paint it to match prior to shipping. Trying to do a few mods over the winter, I just ordered a set of 12" Westcoast Slingshot bars and want to have my lowers and trees powdered black along with a rebuild with Race Tech gold valve and spring setup. Some piggyback GS-3's and a switch to mid controls are on the list too but the forks need to be done first, they are lowered now and are horrible.

No, but I treat them with this stuff that Garry sent me for my bags,
. Wipe it on, then a little buff with a lint free cloth shines them up nicely. It also deepens the black a little. I discovered by accident when some got on the heat shields when I treated the bags one day.
He would know better than I would...maybe I misread his email, but I thought he said it was just the bracket. You could email him before you buy it to be sure he's sending the same one out now that he sent me.
I just finished up a fork upgrade using Ricor Intiminators, Traxxion single rate springs, RSD pre-load asjusters, and Amsoil #10. It took some trial and error to get it dialed in, but now with the 13" Ohlin 909s, it rides and handles better than any of the sportbikes I've had. I don't even use a fork brace anymore. I just got home from a rip out to Riverside County and back. I was in the triple digits for a good part of it...stable and smooth as hell.

More SOCAL bikes
I saw some awesome bikes at the Mike Slagle fundraiser in Temecula. I had to split before the Unknown Industries wheelie show. Hopefully, someone got a couple pics of those bikes.
