Finally got the bars on. Two days, but I kept getting interrupted by work (damn job!)
11" Forbidden Motorcycles risers, ODI MX bars, Baxter X-Grips.
The hardest parts was stuffing all that **** back n the frame. It's unbelievable how much crap goes in there.
I took the tank lift off for now. I want to measure the difference between fill-ups.
The ride is ENTIRELY different. Although the bars are only about 4" lower, the are back about 4" too. The control is rigid and precise; making it a lot easier to speed through twisties.
All-in-all, I'm glad I did it, but honestly, tee-bars are probably a much easier swap. The 7/8" bars at the grip area are a pain in the *** for wiring since even the small connectors don't fit. In fact, the wires don't fit wiyth all the black tubing on the bundle.
My fairing should be ready any day now, and my Powder-Pro hand guards should arrive soon.

Now that's a proper looking dyna, nicely done SLV!
+1 it's a PITA, I went through the same thing last weekend when switching to a set of narrowed mini low protapers.

Thanks guys. Can't wait for the fairing.
The bars are 32" wide. Compared to the apes that were 35", the difference is noticeable.
The hand position in whole is much different.
